RCMP in Shellbrook, along with the RCMP Major Crimes unit, have laid charges in the house fire case on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation. The bodies of two men were pulled from the remnants of the blaze earlier this week.

Dominic Chase Ahenakew, 19 years old, of the Ahtahkakoop First Nation was arrested this week and charged with two counts of second dregree murder. He is remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Dec. 12 in Ahtahkakoop.

RCMP have also issued Canada-wide warrants for two males connected to the case. Kimmy Randall Bear is 24 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. He's abour 5'4" and 160 pounds. Carl Anthony Albert is 6 feet tall and 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Bear and Albert are wanted for two counts of second-degree murder and for the attempted murder of a four-year-old that was pulled from the fire by a witness.
