A 39-year-old inmate at Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert is now facing second-degree murder charges in a homicide case that dates back nearly 20 years.
On Aug. 28, 1992, 26-year-old Ernest Taypotat was found stabbed to death in Saskatoon.
The name of the accused has not been released. He was transported from the penetentiary to Saskatoon and is set to appear in court Tuesday.
