A man is facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of a 13-month-old boy last week.
RCMP found the child unconscious and not breathing when police responded to a 911 call from a home in Paradise Hill near Lloydminster on Nov. 1.
The child was rushed to hospital in Lloydminster then airlifted to Royal University Hospital where he died the next day. Police say an autopsy was performed and the boy's death was determined to be a homicide.
Allen Charles Davidson, 38, has been charged and is scheduled to appear in court today.
Paradise Hill is located about 50 kilometres northeast of Lloydminster.
