Charges have been laid after a 46-year-old man died following an altercation at the Chitek Lake Hotel over the weekend.
RCMP say 38-year-old Frederick Charles Harris from the Pelican Lake First Nation made his first court appearance on manslaughter charges Monday morning.
Jones Thomas from the Pelican Lake First Nation was found dead at the hotel Saturday.
An autopsy is scheduled Tuesday to determine the cause of death.
