RCMP now confirm they consider the suspicious death of a 21-year-old man this past weekend a homicide.

The body of 21-year-old Derrick Morin was found on the side of a grid road near Sturgeon Lake First Nation this past Saturday. RCMP say Morin, a father of three, was involved in a fight and was stabbed to death.

Saskatoon Major Crimes Unit, along with the RCMP's Forensic Identification Unit, are involved in the investigation. No one has been charged in the case.

The Sturgeon Lake First Nation is west of Prince Albert.
